Blaze Breaks Out At Several Valley Stream Stores An early morning fire spread to several stores on Long Island. The blaze broke out around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27  in Valley Stream. The blaze broke out at Orange Skye Day Spa, located at 50 Rockaway Ave., according to Nassau County Police. Police Precinct In Woodbury Destroyed After Fire Breaks Out A fast-moving fire destroyed a Long Island police precinct and injured several firefighters. The fire took place in Woodbury at the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26. According to police, a fire occurred at the Nassau County Police Department’s Second Precinct, located at 7700 Jericho Turnpike.  The fire began in the kitchen area and spread to two adjoining offices, police said. 3 Occupants Evacuated From Burning Residential Building On Long Island Three occupants of a Long Island residential building were evacuated after a blaze broke out early in the morning. A Nassau County Police officer saw was on routine patrol in Oceanside and saw smoke coming from the corner of a building on Oceanside Road at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, NCPD reported. Police said the officer knocked on the front door of the home and helped the three occupants who were in the process of evacuating.
