Fire Breaks Out At Long Island Home
A fast-moving fire tore through a Long Island home, prompting a heavy response from first responders in the region. The blaze broke out shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19 in Copiague inside a private residence on Dante Place, officials said A total of four departments responded to the scene to battle the blaze, which destroyed the Copiague home after it tore through the residence. It is unclear what caused the fire, which remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.

SUV Bursts Into Flames In Chain-Reaction Long Island Crash
A four-vehicle crash on Long Island led to one vehicle landing on a residential property before it burst into flames. The crash took place around 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 on Great Neck Road in Copiague, the Suffolk County Police said. According to police, the Chevrolet SUV being driven by an adult male rear-ended the vehicle in front of it, which caused a chain reaction with two other vehicles being rear-ended. Fire Causes Heavy Damage To Long Island Home
A Suffolk County home suffered extensive damage, and a Dix Hills group home had to be evacuated after a fire broke out and quickly spread, fire officials said. Dozens of firefighters from multiple agencies responded to a Wildwood Drive home shortly after 9:45 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, officials said. The fire reportedly started in an attached garage before spreading to the main structure.
