Police ID Long Island Man Killed In Wrong-Way Fatal Crash Involving Allegedly Drunk Driver The identity has been released of a Long Island man killed in a wrong-way crash involving an allegedly drunk driver, according to police. Noel Pastora, age 56, of Hempstead, was driving a 2000 Dodge Dakota westbound in the eastbound lanes of Sunrise Highway (Route 27), west of Locust Avenue, in Oakdale when his vehicle struck an eastbound sedan around 1:50 a.m. Sunday, June 27, Suffolk County Police said.
