Long Island Teen Driving High On Drugs Leads Cops On Chase, Police Say A Long Island teen who police say was high on drugs has been charged after allegedly leading officers on a pursuit. Suffolk County Police say the 16-year-old was driving a 2009 Hyundai Sonata southbound on Grant Smith Road near the intersection of Route 112 in Coram when he was observed crossing the double yellow line on Wednesday, Nov. 13 around 11 p.m. The officer initiated a traffic stop, but the teen allegedly sped away in the vehicle, making several turns through a residential neighborhood, police say.
