Fatal Crash: 33-Year-Old Long Island Man ID'd As Victim Police are investigating a fatal overnight crash on Long Island. It happened around 9:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 in Medford. A Mastic resident was driving a 2019 Dodge Ram pickup northbound on Hospital Road when he lost control of the vehicle, which crossed over East Woodside Avenue and into a wooded area, where it struck multiple trees, Suffolk County Police said. The victim, identified as Kristopher Muller, age 33, of Mastic, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. Ambulance With Patient Aboard Crashes, Injuring Five On Long Island An ambulance carrying a patient on Long Island that had its lights and sirens on was struck by a Jeep overnight on Long Island, according to authorities. The South Country Ambulance was traveling in Suffolk County on East Woodside Avenue near the intersection with Country Road 101 in Medford at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22, police said.  As it reached the intersection, it was struck by a white Jeep that had been traveling north before striking the ambulance, according to police.
