Police Respond To Three 'Medical/Drug' Incidents At Long Island High School Police are investigating three cases of students needing medical assistance due to drug use in at least two of the cases at a Long Island school. The incidents began on Friday, Feb. 4, at Riverhead High School when officers responded to the school for a possible overdose. According to the Riverhead Police, when officers arrived at the school the student was found alert and conscious. LI Man Nabbed After Car Chase, Two Purse Snatchings, Crash, Police Said A Long Island man who was allegedly high on drugs, was arrested after stealing a vehicle, snatching two purses from women, and then taking police on a pursuit before crashing. The incident took place on Friday, Nov. 27, after Southampton Town were informed by Suffolk County Police that patrol units were in search of a vehicle that was involved in a vehicle pursuit after a man had stolen a vehicle in the county police district and led officers to the Southampton Town area, said Lt.
