Long Island HS Football Coach Reinstated After Investigation A high school head varsity football coach has been reinstated after being temporarily removed from his position after an alleged incident during a scrimmage involving a player on Long Island. Aden Smith is back on the sidelines for Shoreham-Wading River High School after being suspended earlier this month, the school announced on Wednesday, Sept. 18. The reinstatement is effective as of Monday, Sept. 23.
