Fake Vape Products, E-Cigarettes Discovered Across Nassau County After finding fake and altered vape products and e-cigarettes during a sweep of some 60 locations, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran announced a new effort to crack down on the sale and distribution of counterfeit e-cigarette and vape products. Dubbed, "Operation Clear The Air," the new effort, urges all business owners and residents to be vigilant about potential counterfeit products making their way into stores, and to report them to the Department of Consumer Affairs.
