12-Year-Old Airlifted To Hospital Following North Bellmore Crash Two people were injured, including a young boy riding a bicycle, when a pair of large cars collided. The North Bellmore incident occurred at around 4:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 20. According to Nassau County Police, a 52-year-old man was driving a 2020 Ford Econoline Van northbound on Oakfield Avenue. Near the intersection of S Shelley Road, he collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by a 41-year-old woman heading east. Man Admits Threatening Wife's Life, Stockpiling Weapons At East Rockaway Home A Long Island man, who reportedly threatened to kill his wife outside of a hospital, also hoarded several ghost guns, ammunition, and more at his home, authorities said. Thomas Saxton, age 36 of East Rockaway, entered his guilty plea on Wednesday, Jan. 10, according to the Nassau County District Attorney. Nearly two years earlier, on Feb. 17, 2022, Saxton allegedly threatened to kill his wife while she was holding their 2-year-old child in her arms outside of a Cohen Children’s Hospital in Queens.
