Long Island Man Accused Of Shooting Three Cats With Pellet Gun
A 72-year-old Long Island man is facing animal cruelty charges after police say he shot three cats with a pellet gun. Suffolk County Police and the Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) arrested Clifford Nagel, 72, of Mount Sinai on Thursday, Nov. 14. Police say they received a report from a resident of Puritan Drive that two of his cats were limping and that a veterinarian determined that they had been shot on Thursday, Nov. 14 around 9 a.m. The report also stated that one of the man’s cats was walking with a limp in early September and had to be euthanize…
