Knife-Wielding Home Health Aide Menaces Couple In Oceanside, Police Say
A home health aide allegedly went into the home of a couple in Oceanside and menaced them with a knife, according to police.
On Sunday, July 21 at 9:50 a.m., a 28-year-old woman, who is employed as a home health aide, rang the doorbell at the home of her male patient, 64, multiple times, said police.
The patient’s wife, 68, reportedly opened the door and allegedly saw that the woman was armed with a large kitchen knife, according to police.
The aide went in the house and the woman went to a neighbor’s house to call the police, Nassau County police said.
