Woman Struck By Car On Massapequa Roadway A woman was hospitalized after a crash on a Long Island roadway shortly after daybreak. It happened around 8:05 a.m. Tuesday, April 4 in Massapequa. The victim, a 64-year-old, was crossing south to north on Pittsburg Avenue in the vicinity of Carmans Road when she was struck by a 2019 Infinity traveling eastbound on Pittsburg Avenue, Nassau County Police said. She suffered injuries to her right leg and arm, according to police, and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
