The victim, a 64-year-old, was crossing south to north on Pittsburg Avenue in the vicinity of Carmans Road when she was struck by a 2019 Infinity traveling eastbound on Pittsburg Avenue, Nassau County Police said. She suffered injuries to her right leg and arm, according to police, and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The burglary happened at around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Massapequa, at the Carmill Cleaners on Carmans Road, according to Nassau County Police.
