Driver Killed In Head-On Crash In Nassau County A man was killed in a head-on crash on Long Island. It happened in Massapequa at 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 9, according to the Nassau County Police Department.  A Hyundai Sonata, driven by the victim, a 75-year-old, was traveling north on Carmans Road near Bailey Drive when the car was involved in the crash with a Honda Civic, NCPD said. Police said the man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The driver of the Honda, a 33-year-old woman, suffered a possible broken leg and is in stable condition, police said.
