Nearly a dozen agencies responded to the commercial fire that broke out at around 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 in West Babylon, at Frank's Deli on Little East Neck Road. Home Struck By 23-Year-Old Driver In Hicksville Left 'Uninhabitable' A home on Long Island was left “uninhabitable” after a driver lost control and crashed into it, authorities said. Emergency crews in Hicksville were called at around noon on Wednesday, March 1, with reports that a vehicle had crashed into a home located on Gables Drive, according to Nassau County Police. Pictures on Facebook show a massive hole in the home's front wall with debris spread across the front porch. Two Vehicles Slam Into Nassau Subway Restaurant Causing Fire, Injury Two cars ended up inside a Long Island Subway Restaurant following a crash in which one of the vehicles split the other in half, trapping the driver. The incident took place around 10:30 p.m., Friday, March 5, in Nassau County at the Subway on South Main Street in Freeport, said the Freeport Fire Department.
