East Meadow Man Accused Of Assaulting Officer During North Bellmore Traffic Stop A man is accused of becoming combative with officers during a traffic stop on a busy Long Island roadway. The incident began around 3:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29 in North Bellmore.
