Police Precinct In Woodbury Destroyed After Fire Breaks Out A fast-moving fire destroyed a Long Island police precinct and injured several firefighters. The fire took place in Woodbury at the Nassau County Police Department's Second Precinct around 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26. According to police, a fire occurred at the Nassau County Police Department’s Second Precinct, located at 7700 Jericho Turnpike.  The fire began in the kitchen area and spread to two adjoining offices, police said. Seaford Home Extensively Damaged In Fire A Long Island home was extensively damaged in a fire that broke out early in the morning. Authorities received a report of a house fire in Seaford on Bryant Drive at about 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19, according to the Nassau County Police Department. When authorities arrived at the scene, the home was engulfed in flames and the residents had safely evacuated, NCPD reported. The Seaford Fire Department extinguished the blaze, police said.
