Nearly a dozen agencies responded to the commercial fire that broke out at around 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28 in West Babylon, at Frank's Deli on Little East Neck Road. The Pelham Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at 17 Fifth Ave. at about 8:10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, according to a report from the Village of Pelham on Sunday, Feb. 20. Fire Breaks Out At Marriott Hotel Near Nassau Coliseum A small fire at a Marriott Hotel on Long Island was contained to one room. The fire began around 4:47 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6, at the hotel, located near the Nassau Coliseum at 101 James Doolittle Blvd., in Uniondale, said the Nassau County Police. The "small" fire was contained to a room on the third floor and no one was injured, police said. Several people were displaced and were being helped by the American Red Cross.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
