The company said it will begin hiring for the store, which will be located on Long Island, in the hamlet of Oceanside, according to Supermarket News. Amazon has not yet provided dates or other info on the hiring process, the report said. The first Amazon Fresh store opened in the summer of 2020, and there are now just over 30 stores nationally.

New Amazon Fresh Stores Set To Open On Long Island New grocery options are coming for consumers on Long Island as Amazon plans to expand its grocery store operation on the East Coast. The online retail giant reportedly has plans to open Amazon Fresh grocery stores on Nesconset Highway in East Setauket, on Long Beach Road in Oceanside, and on Manetto Hill Road in Plainview.
