Long Island Man Driving Drunk With Child In Pickup Truck Crashes Into House, Police Say A 45-year-old Long Island man was arrested under Leandra's Law for allegedly driving while intoxicated with his child in the vehicle after he crashed into a home. Juan Gonzalez, of Central Islip, was driving a 2002 Toyota pickup truck with his 12-year-old son in the vehicle when he lost control and struck a residence located at 70 Brightside Ave. at approximately 3:10 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 25, Suffolk County Police said. The child was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and will be released into the custody of a family…
