Officers in Uniondale responded to a report of a victim with a gunshot wound at Uniondale Avenue Park at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, the Nassau County Police Department reported. Shots rang out on Prospect Street near the intersection of 45th Street in North Amityville at approximately 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, with two bullets striking the man, who was standing outside an area home.
