The crash happened at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 3, in Valley Stream, the Nassau County Police Department reported. A 2013 Honda Accord that was traveling north on Mill Road struck the boy while he was attempting to cross from the west side to the east side of Mill Road at Roosevelt Avenue, police said.
