Man Convicted For Deadly Hempstead Shooting
A 38-year-old suspect was found guilty of murder for the fatal shooting death of a man on Long Island in 2019, authorities announced. Brooklyn resident James Wilson was convicted of second-degree murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon for his role in the fatal Hempstead shooting of 28-year-old Matthew Gilreath in Nassau County.
