A man has been accused of robbery after police say he stole a pair of shoes from a Long Island man.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are on the lookout for a man, pictured above, who is suspected of stealing a pair of Yeezy sneakers in a parking lot on Lowndes Avenue in Huntington Station on Thursday, Sept. 26 at approximately 1:55 p.m.

According to police, a man used a mobile app to arrange an in-person transaction to sell the sneakers. The suspect asked to inspect the sneakers and allegedly attempted to flee with them.

When the victim attempted to regain possession of the sneakers, police say the suspect brandished a box cutter and fled the scene on foot.
