Video: Man Wanted For Stealing Money From Register At Long Island Laundromat

Police investigators on Long Island have released surveillance video of a suspect who was caught on camera robbing a cash register at an area laundromat in the middle of the day.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole money from a Middle Island business last year.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers issued an alert as they attempt to locate a man who stole money from a register at Middle Island Laundromat on Middle Country Road at approximately 12:30 on Thursday, Nov. 18.

The suspect can be seen briskly walking over to the front desk, where there was no employee. He then reached over the counter, rummaged through a drawer before opening the register and grabbed cash while looking around. He can then be seen walking away and out the door.

It is unclear how much money the man made off with. He is wanted for petit larceny.
