Three men allegedly robbed a group of teenagers skateboarding outside a Long Island movie theater, police said.

Suffolk County Police detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating three men who allegedly robbed a skateboarding teenager in Huntington in December.

According to police, two teenagers were skateboarding in the area of AMC on Wall Street at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, when they were approached by three men.

Police said that the men then forcefully took one of the teenager’s electric skateboards with green wheels and a backpack before taking off on foot. The stolen items had an estimated value of approximately $500.

Anyone with information regarding the incident or suspects has been asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or submitting an anonymous tip online .
