Missing Nassau County Woman Found

Update:

The Missing Person Alert for an 82-year-old Elmont woman has been canceled. 

Carole Gregory is safe after being located in Brooklyn by the NYPD, the New York State Public Safety Department announced.

Original report:

An 82-year-old Nassau County woman has gone missing and authorities are asking for the public's help in finding her.

Carole Gregory was last seen on Clinton Street in the town of Elmont at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15. Authorities say she is a vulnerable adult with dementia and may be in need of medical attention.

She was last seen wearing a maroon coat, teal fleece shirt with flowers, gray jogging pants and glasses.

She is believed to be driving a 2004 Honda Accord with the New York plates of CBJ4578. (See second image above.)

Anyone with info on her whereabouts is asked to call Nassau County Police Department Detective Bureau(516) 573-7347 or 911.
