Massage Parlor Raid On Long Island Leads To Charge For Woman, Police Say

A 35-year-old woman was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession following a massage parlor raid on Long Island.

Police officers, along with the Town of Brookhaven fire marshal and building inspector, conducted an investigation into New Blue Sea Relaxing Spa in Mount Sinai at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, after receiving complaints about the business, the Suffolk County Police Department said.

The business is located at 331 Route 25A, police reported.

SCPD said Lan Li, of Flushing, was arrested after the investigation.

She was released on a desk appearance ticket and is set to appear in court at a later date, police said.
