Man Found With Crystal Meth During Narcotics Investigation In Merrick, Police Say

Aristos Reglas, age 44, of East Elmhurst, Queens, was arrested on drug charges by Nassau County Police Tuesday, Nov. 1, in Merrick. 

Detectives with the department’s Narcotics/Vice Squad found Reglas in possession of a glass pipe containing a substance believed to be crystalized methamphetamine, police said.

Investigators subsequently found an additional amount of the drug, according to police.

Reglas is now facing multiple charges, including criminal sale of a controlled substance, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and tampering with physical evidence.

He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
