4 Teens Shot At Large House Party In Freeport

Police are investigating after four teenagers were shot at a large Long Island house party overnight.

Nassau County Police say the incident in Freeport happened at around midnight Sunday, Oct. 16 when the party on Babylon Turnpike dispersed onto the surrounding streets.

An unknown vehicle was traveling southbound on Babylon Turnpike in the vicinity of Independence Avenue.

Multiple rounds were discharged from the vehicle and struck three teenage boys -- two age 16 and the other age 14 -- and a 16-year-old girl, according to police.

The victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment and evaluation.
