Thomas Valva, of Center Moriches, died around 9:40 a.m., Friday, Jan. 17, said Suffolk County Police.

Police found the boy after responding to the home on Bittersweet Lane for a report of a child who fell in a driveway.

Valva was taken to Long Island Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Suffolk County Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy.

The incident is under investigation by the Suffolk County Police.
