The “Piano Man” singer’s Oyster Bay mansion located in Centre Island was broken into sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, and 8:15 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 27 when a burglar busted through his garage door, police said.

At the time of the break-in, Joel was not at the residence, which was empty.

The investigation into the break-in is ongoing.
