Of all the delectable dishes to play second fiddle to the turkey, sweet potato casserole is the most popular in the Empire State, according to AllRecipes.
The website analyzed its data from Turkey Days past to come up with its list of the most popular Thanksgiving side dishes in every state, based on recipe search volumes.
A holiday staple for many, sweet potato casserole is typically made with brown sugar, butter, orange juice, and cinnamon, and topped with gooey marshmallows.

Pair Of Long Island Teens Has Been Missing 5 Days
Authorities are asking for help in locating two missing teenagers from Long Island.
Angel Maceria, age 15, and Naia Beck, age 17, both of Brentwood, were last seen on Thursday, Nov. 21, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
Beck was last seen wearing a green t-shirt and gray sweatpants, while Maceria was wearing a blue flannel shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes.
The two may be traveling together.

Nassau County Police said the incident happened on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the Capital One bank on Grand Avenue in Baldwin. Investigators said the suspect entered the bank, filled out a withdrawal slip using someone else’s identity, and withdrew $900 in cash.
