Massapequa Park Eatery Voted Long Island's Best American/Continental Restaurant

An eatery that serves up a variety of flatbreads, pasta dishes, and burgers, was voted the best American/Continental restaurant on Long Island, according to Bethpage Best of Long Island.

Nassau County eatery Mercato Kitchen & Cocktails was voted the best in that category for 2022, the site reported.

The restaurant is located at 4958 Merrick Road in Massapequa Park.

Owners report that the restaurant provides a wide selection of dishes that are influenced by both American and Italian cuisine.

"This place is fantastic! Decor is beautiful, very clean, staff is very friendly and accommodating," Karin R., of Brookhaven, said in a Yelp review. "The fried fresh mozzarella is EVERYTHING. Can't miss it. The steak & portobello flatbread was great as well, and I got this Pollo Asparagi which is probably one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted."
