Here are five places to try.

Phil's Pizzeria & Restaurant: 820 Hicksville Rd., North Massapequa: Delicious Italian food and great pizza are often mentioned in user reviews. The owner was asked why Phil's is popular.

"We're family owned and operated for over 30 years and used the best and most natural ingredients," Frank Maola said.

Donna F. of Levittown in a Yelp review said, "The food is always delicious and fresh. There are many choices and the portions are huge. We always have leftovers for a few more meals. Every time we visit the servers makes us feel special and they remember us, even where we like to sit and what we like to eat and drink."

Brooklyn Square Pizza, 3620 Merrick Rd., Seaford: Their signature Brooklyn Square or Sicilian pie is just one reason to go.

They "have an excellent pizza called the Brooklyn Square and their chicken Caesar salad slice is excellent," said a member of the "Gaffney family in Wantagh" to Daily Voice.
