$15K Winning Lottery Ticket Sold At This Westchester Gas Station One lucky visitor to a Westchester gas station walked away with a lottery ticket that made them several thousand dollars richer. A top-prize-winning Take 5 ticket worth $15,225.50 was sold in New Rochelle for the Labor Day drawing on Monday, Sept. 2, New York Lottery officials announced.  The ticket was sold at a Gulf gas station at 635 Main St., officials added. The identity of the winner was not released.  For those looking to try their luck, Take 5 drawings are televised twice a day at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Prizes can be claimed up to a year after the drawing date.

Lisa Nicotra, of Staten Island, claimed the second prize for matching the first five numbers in the Tuesday, July 26, Mega Millions drawing, New York Lottery reported on Monday, Sept. 26.  The winning numbers were 07 29 60 63 66 Mega Ball 15, NY Lottery said. She received her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $612,240 after required withholdings, the lottery said.  The ticket was purchased at Soham Enterprises, which is located at 1774 Forest Ave. on Staten Island, NY Lottery reported.

Shana Egresi, of Prattsburgh in Steuben County, located west of Ithaca, won the top prize from the New York Lottery's Lucky 13 scratch-off game, NY Lottery reported on Monday, Feb. 14. “Have fun with it,” Egresi told NY Lottery after claiming her prize. “It could change your life.” NY Lottery reported that Egresi received her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $546,840 after required withholdings. The ticket was purchased at Tops Markets, which is located at 309 W. Morris St. in Bath.
