Are You Owed Money? $300M In Unclaimed Funds Available To Westchester Residents This story has been updated. Nearly $300 million dollars in unclaimed funds are owed to Westchester County residents, businesses and organizations.  More than $278 million of the state's $15 billion in unclaimed funds has been returned to New Yorkers this year, according to  New York Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli. DiNapoli joined County Executive George Latimer at the White Plains Library on Thursday afternoon to help residents find out if unclaimed funds are owed to them.
