Acquaintance In Custody After Fatal Stabbing In Westchester A suspect is in police custody after a fatal overnight stabbing in Westchester. At approximately 4:35 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, members of the Yonkers Police Department responded to the area in front of 26 Vineyard Ave. on a report of an injured man bleeding from the throat. Upon arrival officers discovered the man down in the street bleeding from an apparent stab wound to the neck, said Yonkers Police, adding that first responders immediately rendered medical aid to the victim, who succumbed to his injury and was pronounced dead at scene.
