Two Extricated After BMW Crashes Into Stone Wall In Bedford
Two people were seriously injured during a single-vehicle crash in Northern Westchester over the weekend. The crash occurred around 9 p.m. Saturday on Old Post Road near Seminary Road in Bedford, said Bedford PD Lt. Andrew Bellantone. The vehicle, a 2006 BMW 550, was traveling southwest on Old Post Road before it struck a stone wall and came to rest on its roof in the northbound lane, Bellantone said. Man Killed After Car Crashes Into House In Hudson Valley Police Chase
A 35-year-old man was killed while attempting to escape police after losing control of his vehicle and slamming into an unoccupied house.According to Middletown Police, the incident took place around 12:53 a.m. Thursday when an officer saw a black 2000 Lexus GS 300 commit a traffic infraction in the area of Cottage Street and Railroad Avenue, the department said in a release. Man Sentenced For BMW Crash That Killed Westchester Teen, Hurt Boyfriend
The driver of a BMW that crashed on Central Avenue last year and killed 19-year-old Nina Cordero in Yonkers and injured her boyfriend has been sentenced to a term of between three and nine years in state prison. Yonkers resident Renzo Yance, 22, who pleaded guilty to a felony count of manslaughter earlier this year, was sentenced on Tuesday, where he faced a maximum term of up to 15 years in state prison for his role in the Aug. 26 fatal crash last year. Multiple Injuries After Crash Involving Ambulance In Northern Westchester
Multiple injuries have been reported after a serious crash in which an ambulance overturned during a crash with a car in Northern Westchester early Sunday afternoon. The crash, reported around 1:15 p.m., resulted in the closure of a stretch of Hardscrabble Road near I-684 at the intersection of Daniel Road, where the North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps is located.
