Former Van Cortlandtville School Teacher Helen DeMaria Millicker Dies
Helen DeMaria Millicker of Cortlandt Manor died on Oct. 5.
She was born in Peekskill on July 26, 1934 to Michael and Helen Pisani DeMaria and graduated from the Assumption School and Peekskill High School, Class of 1952, as well as SUC in New Paltz in 1956. She taught in Van Cortlandtville School.
Helen married John Millicker on April 17, 1960 in the Church of the Assumption. They had four sons: John (Shannon), Glenn, Michael (Karen) and Paul (Martha).
She is survived by her husband John, nine wonderful grandchildren: Anastasia, Michael, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Victoria, Megan, Stephan…
