The incident took place around 7:30 p.m. Monday at 100 Main St., near the heart of downtown Ossining, said the Ossining Police Department. Large Truck Leaking Fuel Causes Road Closure In Ossining Update: Police said that the scene is nearly cleaned up, and Main Street is expected to reopen at approximately 6 p.m. on Monday afternoon. All hands were on deck Monday morning on Main Street in Ossining, as crews worked quickly to clean up a massive oil spill in the area that forced a lengthy road closure. Main Street remains closed between South Highland Avenue and State Street due to a large truck that leaked gallons of oil in the roadway.
