Northern Westchester Residents Charged With DWI In Weekend Stops With local and state police agencies cracking down on drunk, drugged and distracted driving, several local residents were among nearly two dozen in the area who found themselves on the wrong side of the law over the weekend. Local residents charged were: Westchester County On July 28, State Police from Cortlandt arrested Segundo Otavalo Figueroa, age 24, of Ossining, for DWI. Taconic Parkway Lanes Closures Scheduled Motorists planning on traveling on the Taconic State Parkway on  Saturday, Feb. 3 may see delays as crews complete roadwork in Mount Pleasant. The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert cautioning that the southbound lanes of the Taconic State Parkway will be closed between Route 117 and the Sprain Brook Parkway in Mount Pleasant for several hours while crews perform maintenance.
