Teen, 21-Year-Old Charged In July 4th Burglary Of Area Deli
A teen from the area and a 21-year-old man have been arrested and charged in connection with a July 4th burglary at an area delicatessen. At approximately 1:35 a.m., Putnam County sheriff deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the Border-Line Deli, located at 182 Fairfield Drive in Patterson. Upon arrival, Deputy Vincent Dalo observed that the store’s front door and window had been broken and the business had indeed been burglarized. Motorist Caught With Ecstasy In I-684 Stop
A traffic stop on I-684 led to a felony drug charge for a 27-year-old man who was allegedly in possession of ecstasy, state police said. New York State Police investigators announced the arrest of West Hartford resident Christopher Thai on Monday, who was stopped by state police troopers for a violation of vehicle and traffic law at approximately 8:40 p.m. on May 1 on I-684 in Southeast. Suspect Nabbed Again After Fleeing On Foot After I-84 Stop, Police Say
A familiar face attempted to evade New York State Police troopers on Tuesday morning after being busted driving while under the influence of marijuana in Putnam County, tossing credit cards and checks as he fled on foot, according to a state police spokesperson. Troopers conducted a traffic stop of Bronx resident Earl Allen, 26, after he committed multiple vehicle and traffic violations on I-84 in Southeast.
