Where's The Bear? Bruin In Northern Westchester On Run, Spotted Near Restaurant
This story has been updated. A bear making the rounds in Northern Westchester has left his perch in a tree and is on the run. A reader said she just saw the bear on Route 118/129 near Jennifer's Restaurant. Yorktown Police said the bear was first spotted around noon up a tree on Hanover Street in Yorktown. Residents are urged to use caution when outdoors in the area. Do not approach the bear if sighted. If you see the bear, let us know. This continues to be a developing story.
