CFO Embezzles $100K From Hudson Valley Company, Police Say A lengthy investigation has resulted in a 54-year-old former chief financial officer being charged with embezzling more than $100,000 from his company, state police from the Brewster barracks announced Thursday. An investigation into the possible embezzlement of funds from the Children’s Bible Fellowship in Carmel began in July of 2017 after CBF officials discovered and reported the larceny.  The investigation revealed that during David Eldredge’s approximately 12-year tenure as the Chief Financial Officer of CBF, he stole more than $100,000, police said.
