Real median household income in the United States rose for the first time in four years. The amount of to $80,610 in 2023 marked the first annual increase since 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a US Census Bureau report released this week. Voters nationally prefer Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris over her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, a brand-new survey by Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey shows. The seven-point margin (50 to 43) is largely due to race and gender, the FDU poll shows. Candidates for Attorney General and state Senate visited the Mediterranean Political Action Committee in Yonkers on Thursday to discuss statewide issues. The election is Nov. 6.
