Man Found Dead In Parking Lot Of Westchester ShopRite
Police County are investigating after a man's body was found in the parking lot of a ShopRite in Westchester County. The man was found Saturday morning, June 5 in the parking lot of the store located on Prospect Street in Yonkers. Yonkers Police Det. Lt. Dean Politopoulos said the investigation is pending the outcome of the medical examiner's investigation. The man has not been identified. This is a developing story. This story has been updated. Police have released the identities of five people killed during a horrific two-vehicle crash in Westchester County. A federal agent fired a shot at a vehicle after one of the people targeted in a large cocaine bust rammed into the agent's vehicle, pushing it back 10 to 15 feet. Man Admits To Attempted Murder In 2016 Westchester Shooting
A 20-year-old man from Westchester is set to spend the better part of a decade behind bars after admitting to his role in a shooting incident in Yonkers more than two years ago. Diamante Powell of Yonkers pleaded guilty on Tuesday to second-degree attempted murder for shooting his victim during an early morning incident on Prospect Street in Yonkers, leaving him hospitalized.
