Mount Kisco Native, One Of America's Top Golf Writers, Dies At 66 Native New Yorker Tim Rosaforte, one of the most prominent and popular golf writers in the country, died at the age of 66 after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was born in Northern Westchester, in Mount Kisco, and graduated from Brewster High School in Putnam County. Some Tickets Still Available For PGA Championship At Bethpage Black There are still some tickets on the market for one of sports' marquee events that is being hosted on Long Island. With the PGA Championship heading to Bethpage Black in Farmingdale from Monday, May 13, through Sunday, May 19, some tickets are still available for both the practice rounds (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) and championship rounds (Thursday and Friday). Tickets for the main event on Saturday and Sunday have been sold out for some time, as are week-long grounds tickets.
