Woman Fatally Struck While Walking On Parkway In Westchester
A woman died at a hospital after being hit by a car on a parkway in Westchester, police said. The crash happened on Thursday, Sept. 26 just after 1 a.m., when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the southbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway in Mount Vernon between East Lincoln Avenue and East 3rd Street, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary. A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle along a busy Hudson Valley roadway. The incident took place in Rockland County around 8:20 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23 in West Nyack. A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a delivery van in Westchester. The incident happened around 5:32 a.m., Monday, March 8, when the New York State Police received a report from NYPD of a pedestrian struck by a delivery van in the southbound lanes of I-95 just north of Exit 14 in the town of Pelham, said the New York State Police.
