Two Parks, Rec Employees Injured By Falling Tree At Park In Westchester Two parks and recreation department employees were injured when a tree fell and struck them. The incident occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, at Neptune Park in New Rochelle. The injuries were sustained as the pair were conducting a regularly scheduled cleanup at the park, New Rochelle Police Capt. Cosmo Costa said. One employee suffered a head injury and the other sustained a shoulder injury. Costa said both employees were conscious and have been transported to a local hospital for evaluation on the injuries.
