Investigators from the Scarsdale Police Department received a report of a stolen rental car that was taken from a driveway on Continental Road between midnight on Sunday, June 6, and 8:20 a.m. that morning. Police said that the black 2021 Lincoln Aviator was parked on the left side of the driveway, unlocked and with the keys inside. Wanted Man Busted After Rear-Ending Driver While Drunk In Westchester, Police Say A man with a warrant out for his arrest for a DWI was taken into police custody in Westchester after allegedly driving drunk and crashing into another driver, police said. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department were dispatched to the intersection of Post Road and Olmsted Road at approximately 1:50 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, where there was a report of a crash. Police said that New Rochelle resident Gerald Collins, Jr., 39, was driving a Toyota Camry south on Post Road when he rear-ended a Jeep Wrangler that was stopped at a red light. School Bus Crashes With Car In Westchester This story has been updated. Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a crash between a school bus and a car late Thursday afternoon in Westchester. The crash took place around 3:30 p.m. at Olmsted Road and Brewster Road in Scarsdale, according to the Scarsdale Police. No injuries were reported. The fire department, as well as EMS, responded along with police officers, police said. Police did not know which school the bus serviced.
